Poet
Leap of Faith
You took a great leap of faith that day
Plummeting off that bridge
Onto the train tracks below
Waiting for a quick ending of a young life.
A quick reunion, with your beloved mother
Already one year dead
Unable to be parted any longer
Just wanting to be with her again.
You took that leap of faith
Alone, all of us in darkness.
I just hope you leapt
Into her arms, into the light once more.
