Fifteen years to the day

Of being without you

I have made it without you

More than anything

I need courage and strength

To keep on going for the next fifteen years

I need some light

As I feel pretty lost

The need to see the good in others and the world

To keep on going for the next fifteen years

My joy is seeing the faces of my children

With my children either side of me

I feel like a queen on a throne

For them, I need to keep on going for the next fifteen years.
